With Depth Hunter, anglers can easily keep track of line distance. Each spool uses four colors; Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange. The color remains solid for a span of 25 feet before it changes hue. A full rotation of all 4 colors winds out to 100 feet, at which point the pattern repeats itself. To give anglers an even more precise depth measurement, the line has black tics every 5 yards. Distance Accuracy Within 5 Yards
Put your knot or connection right at the end of any color segment. It doesn’t really matter which color you tie to, as they all measure 25 yards. 4 or 6 Strand Spectra Braided Line
Following the style of standard Power Pro Spectra, Depth Hunter uses either a 4 or 6 strand weave. The lighter tests of 10 through 65 pounds employ a 4 strand weave, while 80 to 150 pounds use 6. The obvious benefit to using Power Pro Depth Hunter braid is the color scheme. Without the need for a line counter, knowing your distance has plenty of helpful uses. But there are other advantages like EBT, which adds distance to jig casting. EBT also improves abrasion resistance, making it easier on your gear while adding life to the line.
